Leap of Faith Challenge 2012

31 March 2012

Following the success of last years’ Leap of Faith, Age Concern is holding a similar event this year.  Last Year, the Lord Bishop of Sodor and Man, the Rt. Rev. Robert Paterson was the first to head down the cliff.  Afterwards he said, “It was a great experience, never having done that before. I suppose I should not have left it so long”.

In 2012, we are delighted to have three members of the clergy leading the way – Pastor Jonathan Stanfield, Rev. Margaret Burrow and Pastor John Powell. We are tremendously appreciative of their support.

Abseiling requires no skill, no effort and no prior experience; the real challenge is in the mind. Whether it's your first descent or if you've enjoyed abseiling before, we guarantee a thrilling mix of emotions!

Initial trepidation, followed by a rush of success and elation through contact with the ground, afterwards, an uncontrollable urge to do it all again!

All jumps are supervised by the Venture Centre, Maughold.

It’s only £20 to register, but we would ask you to try and raise a minimum sponsorship of £80 if you can.

Go on, register today. We dare you!

Help us to raise money to make life better for older people on this island.
