A ‘Heaven Scent’ donation

12 April 2010

Local girl group Heaven Scent has won this year’s Search for a Star contest. The final was held on April 1 and with matched funding from principal sponsor Bradford and Bingley International the event has raised £6754 for Age Concern Isle of Man.

Business development consultant Carole Male said: ‘Age Concern Isle of Man would like to say a big thank you to all who took part in this exciting competition and to sponsors Bradford and Bingley International and Graham Johnson of Guys and Dolls.  There were so many talented entrants it was very hard to choose a winner, but it eventually went to an audience vote and Heaven Scent – Amanda Dawson, Jodie Dunnage and Lauren Simpson - emerged the winners.’
